Up the Yangtze

Up the Yangtze provides us with an interesting perspective into the lives of rural Chinese citizens. The disparagements between Chinese policy and American policy becomes very apparent.. Subliminally, we can infer from this movie that the Chinese have an overbearing control of there media. This results in gross corruption of a government that cannot be held accountable for the promises and actions that the take on.
